What is free and what does the purchase unlock?
You can find your season and browse your own palette for free. The one-time purchase unlocks all four season palettes, favorites, saved color sets, saved Smart Match results and the shortcut menu.
What if the season it gives me feels wrong?
Retake the photo in better light first — that fixes most disagreements. If you still disagree, set your season by hand and the app uses that palette from then on.
Why does lighting matter so much?
Skin tone is read from reflected light, so the color of the light source shifts the reading. A warm bulb pushes everyone towards Autumn and a cool one towards Winter. The app locks and corrects white balance before measuring, which is why results hold up indoors.
Does it work on Android or iPad?
Not currently. Color Curator is an iPhone app and needs iOS 18.6 or later.
